Laurel Wilson. Fine Artist.

I am a 2019 John Brown University graduate with a Bachelor's in Art and Illustration with a concentration in Fine Art who is looking for new opportunities to express my creativity. I believe that there are so many art forms and I would love to try them all, I always prefer to keep an open mind! 

I am passionate about discovering who I am and experiencing new things. I want to learn more about different techniques, jobs, and people while along the way learning more about myself! I am very passionate about the idea of art as a form of healing and help for others, if there is any way that art can help someone I am all for it.

I have won a few awards from the Oklahoma State Fair in the past, including Best of Show and Grand Champion in my division and held a solo art show "Color Me _____.". I am someone that is driven by emotions, which allowed me to create my new pieces that I hope can reach out to people and connect. I have a hunger for perfection and cohesiveness that has supported me in this process. I believe one should always experience the art world, no matter what media, which explains my interests in acting, photography, painting, as well as special effects makeup.
